PolyDADMAC, a quaternary ammonium polymer, is highly soluble in water and contains active cationic and adsorbent functional groups. These properties allow it to neutralize negative charges and promote the flocculation of suspended solids and soluble organics in wastewater, which leads to enhanced decolorization, algae removal, and overall organic matter elimination.
This compound finds applications as a flocculant, decolorizer, and dewatering agent in water treatment for drinking, raw, and wastewater. It is also a fungicide for textile dyeing and printing, and functions as a softener, antistatic agent, conditioner, and color-fixer. In chemical industries, it is used as a surfactant.
The product can be continuously and evenly added to the wastewater treatment system after being diluted to any ratio, or diluted 5-20 times, stirred, and settled before direct addition to the wastewater.
Different sources of water and sewage require varying dosages, which should be determined based on turbidity and concentration, with the optimal dosage found through pilot-scale trials.
Careful attention to dosing points and stirring speed is required to mix the material evenly, while minimizing the risk of breaking the flocs.
The product comes in 210kg net plastic drums or 1100kg net IBCs, with the solid version packaged in 20 kg kraft paper bags.
As a common chemical, this product should be kept at room temperature, shielded from direct sunlight, and stored between 5-30°C.
This product has a shelf life of 24 months.
This product can freeze when kept at temperatures below 0°C for prolonged periods. Once thawed and stirred thoroughly, it can be used normally.
The product may cause irritation to the eyes and skin. It is recommended to wear rubber gloves, goggles, and protective clothing when handling it. Spilled polymer can create slippery surfaces and should be immediately rinsed away with water.
