What is a high vacuum heating furnace ?
A high vacuum furnace is a type of furnace that is designed to operate under very low levels of pressure, typically in the range of 10^-3 torr or lower. The main purpose of a high vacuum furnace is to heat materials in a vacuum environment to facilitate various processes, such as sintering, brazing, annealing, and heat treatment. The low-pressure environment helps to prevent contamination of the material being processed, which can be critical for certain applications like electronic and aerospace components. Typical features of a high vacuum furnace include a vacuum chamber, heating elements, temperature controls, cooling systems, and gas handling systems.
High vacuum heating furnace features:
