Horizontal Tube Furnaces are composed of a cylindrical working chamber or tube that is usually made of a refractory material such as ceramic or graphite, which is heated through high-power heating elements that are placed within the walls of the furnace.
Horizontal Tube Furnaces are commonly used in materials research and industrial applications, such as crystal growth, wafer processing, sintering, annealing, and brazing. They are often preferred over conventional tube furnaces for materials that are prone to oxidation at high temperatures, as the vacuum chamber prevents the materials from reacting with atmospheric oxygen.
