1. Hinged Lid: The part the user interacts with. It protects the dispensing orifice from dirt and contaminants.

2. Living Hinge: A thin bridge of plastic connecting the lid to the base. It is designed to flex hundreds of times without breaking.

3. Plug Seal (Most Critical): A small, protruding ring or cone on the underside of the lid. This plug fits precisely into the dispensing orifice to create an airtight and liquid-tight seal, preventing leaks and product drying.

4. Base Skirt / Closure: The threaded part that screws onto the container's neck.

5. Dispensing Orifice: The opening through which the product flows.

6. Tamper-Evident Band: A perforated plastic ring connected to the base skirt that breaks away upon first opening, providing evidence the product hasn't been used.
