BASIC USES
GUIBAO 993 Silicone Sealant for Skylight is a high performance silicone sealant specially designed for:
Glazing , watertight joint seal in skylight engineering.
Glazing and watertight seal for the ceilings over the waiting halls at airports, railway stations and bus stations.
Sealing other construction joints with greatly high movement or safety requirement.
SPECIFICATIONS
GUIBAO 993 is designed to meet or even exceed the requirement of:
China national specification.
GB/T 22083-2008 class50.
Complies with ASTM C 920.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
GUIBAO 993 should be stored in original unopened containers. It has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
LIMITATIONS
GUIBAO 993 should not be applied:
For structural glazing.
To the materials that bleed oils , plasticizers or solvents, such as impregnated wood.
In totally confined spaces as sealant requires atmospheric moisture for cure.
To frost laden or damp surfaces.
For continuous water immersion.
When surface temperature below 4℃ or over 50℃.
