Product Description:
Gabion basket, also known as gabion mesh, green grid, gabion retaining wall, Reynolds pad, reinforced gabion, or gabion cage, is a new material structure that is widely used in traffic, water conservancy, municipal, gardens, soil and water conservation, and other engineering projects.
This ecological grid is corrosion-resistant with a high strength low carbon galvanized steel wire or 5%-10% thin alloy coated steel wire (or homogeneous coated polymer steel wire). The wires are twisted into hexagonal mesh mesh and the double hinge part should not be less than 5 cm long in order to protect the steel wire’s protective coating. Gabion mesh can be assembled into boxes according to engineering design requirements, and loaded with blocks and stones as well as other filling materials to form a combined structure, which can then be used as embankment, roadbed protection, or other engineering new technologies.

Applications:
Stone cage net is mainly used to guide the river water, since rivers tend to follow the flow along the channel they are used to in normal cases. If the flood is coming with huge quantities of water, the waters will be flowing straight very fast due to inertia and will impact the original channel and embankment, potentially even diverting the river and causing disasters.
In order to reduce the impact of these rapid floods, stone cage net is positioned inside the embankment or along the edge of the channel. The turbulent rivers directly collide with these stone cages or stone cage mats, and it protects the embankments and channels from being destroyed.
At the bends of the rivers, due the presence of these stone cage nets or the stone cage mats, the rivers get diverted to the regular flow channel which keeps them guided to the e routes.
These stone cage nets can also be applied to the spillway dams and diversion dams to guide or restrain the floods towards the right routes.
