Gabion basket, also known as gabion mesh, green grid, gabion retaining wall, Reynolds pad, reinforced gabion, gabion cage, etc., is a new material structure which is widely used in recent years in traffic, water conservancy, municipal, gardens, soil and water conservation and other engineering projects.
It is made of high strength low carbon galvanized steel wire or 5% ~ 10% thin alloy coated steel wire (or homogeneous coated polymer steel wire), which is twisted and twisted by machine into hexagonal mesh.The length of the double hinge part should not be less than 5 cm in order not to destroy the protective coating of steel wire.Please refer to the industry standard YB/T4221-2010 for details.
Gabion mesh can be assembled into boxes according to engineering design requirements, and loaded with blocks and stones and other filling materials, connected into one.It is used as new technology for embankment protection, roadbed protection and other engineering.
