Description of Gabion Basket

Stone cage net is a kind of product made by mechanically weaving high corrosion-resistant, high-strength and highly ductile low-carbon steel wire or steel wire coated with PVC. It is mainly used to make stone cage boxes for slope support, foundation pit support and other projects. The features of stone cage net include high corrosion resistance, high strength and flexibility, which can adapt to the changes of slopes without being damaged, and has good safety and stability. 

Material and Structure
The material of gabion mesh is mainly low-carbon steel wire or steel wire coated with PVC. The diameter of the steel wire is generally between 2.0 and 4.0 mm, with a tensile strength of no less than 38 kg/m² and a metal coating weight of more than 245 g/m². The length of the double-twisted part shall not be less than 50 mm to ensure that the metal coating and PVC coating of the steel wire in the twisted part are not damaged.

Intruduction of Gabion Basket

1. Materials: hot dipped galvanized wire or PVC coated galvanized wire, Galfan coated wire ( Zinc 95% + 5% Aluminum).

2. Zinc coating : 225-275g/m2.

3. Tensile strength between 380N/mm2 -- 500N/mm2.

4. Elongation≥ 12%.

5.Wire Diameter:2.4-3.5mm

6.Mesh Size: 50x70mm, 50x100mm, 80x100mm or according to customers’ requirements.

7.Box Size:0.5x0.5x1m, 1x1x1m, 1x1x2m, 1x1x3m, 1x1x4m, 2x1x0.5m, 4x1x0.5m.
