Operating Principle
As the wet vapor stream rises through the knitted and crimped wire matrix, entrained droplets continuously impact the contracting surfaces. The gas continues to rise while heavier liquids separate, attach, and coalesce into droplets within the mesh. As droplets grow and increase in weight, they fall to the bottom of the vessel due to gravity. Liquid accumulations are then drained from the bottom while purified gas is routed through the top of the vessel.
Applications & Configurations
Available in round, rectangular, ring, and custom shapes to suit various equipment requirements. Special configurations include drawer types for easy transportation and installation, and wavelike types for enhanced contact area and filtering efficiency.
