Steel Walkway Grating Description
Press-locked steel bar grating is often desirable because its smooth look, clean and excellent support. It exhibits the same strength, long life and openness as welded grating. Materialsinclude mild carbon steel and stainless steel. It is also available in a serrated surface for extra ety.
Spacing range can be custom designed to meet the requirements. This method of manufactureing is particularly flexible that it allows for the production of grating with custom bearing bar spacing. Small quantities can easily be manufactured to suit the precise needs of most applications.
Steel grid gratings are press-welded by auto-welding machine, the original panle size usually around 1x6mtr. Then they will be cut to size according to the drawings. And we can make the specs as per American standard, European standard, Australian Webforge standard, etc.
For example:19-W-4 is the steel grating mesh size described as per America Standard. It means that the bearing bar pitch is 19/16 (1-3/16) inch which is approximately equal to 30mm, and the cross bar pitch is 4 inch which is approximately equals to 100mm. Therefore, 19w4 steel bar grating is same as steel gratings with mesh size 30x100mm. It is regular type in Chinese Market, and it can be electro-forged by machine directly.

3).I Bar: An extruded bearing bar having a cross sectional shape resembling the letter "I".
