Thermal oil heating asphalt tanks are heated by serpentine heating coils. Heated thermal fluid from a hot oil boiler circulates through the coils, transferring heat to asphalt stored inside the tank.
They are used at hot mix asphalt plants, asphalt terminals, and asphalt roofing plants.
Tank Components
The equipment consists of 35 m3 horizontal tank, rock wool insulation layer, four transverse bases, heat conducting oil coil in tank, asphalt liquid level meter, asphalt thermometer, manhole, breathing hole, climbing ladder, asphalt import and export, heat conducting oil import and export, sewage outlet.

1. Tank with large volume , low center of gravity and compact structure.
2. The inner bitumen tank is equipped with thermal oil coils, heating effect is good, no pollution.
3. With liquid level display and alarm system, easy to control bitumen liquid level height in the tank.
4. Thermal oil bitumen tank can not only heat bitumen, also can heated oil products, chemical products, volume of tank can be customized.
