Principle
The maglev centrifugal blower adopts high-speed motor, frequency converter and magnetic bearing integration structure. The output shaft of the motor is directly connected to the impeller, thus the mechanical speed increasing devices are no more required such as gears and couplings.
Variable frequency automatic regulation of air volume, air pressure and other output parameters. No mechanical contact, thus no oil lubrication system is required. The standard configuration includes high-speed motor, frequency converter, oil-free magnetic bearing, vent valve, local control, safety monitoring system and acoustic enclosure. All components are integrated and installed on the common base without special fixed foundation.
Key Components Description
- The magnetic bearing is the most important part of the whole machine, which is the active magnetic bearing. Based on the principle of constant magnetic attraction (similar to the German EMS technology adopted by Shanghai maglev train), the high speed and stable non friction suspension rotation of rotating shaft is achieved by electromagnetic attraction. By using position sensor, power amplifier and PI arithmetic device, real-time detection and corresponding adjustment of motor shaft, real-time fault diagnosis are carried out. Its active control ability can effectively prevent the shaft from vibration resulted from the unbalance and implement power-off protection.
- Impeller is made of solid aluminum alloy by CAM technology in CNC center. The impeller is of semi open design, and is directly connected to the motor shaft, while the blade is of three-dimensional shape, which can be optimally configured according to the actual design requirements of the machine.
- Volute and fan outlet are integrated.
- The cooling mode of inverter motor is air cooling. The motor shaft placed vertically is directly connected to impeller and motor cooling fan, and runs through magnetic bearing and frequency converter.
