OASIS stainless steel wire-based prepacked well screens are composed of two or multiple layers of screens and the stuffing between them. The inner layer is a perforated pipe or Johnson screen, and the outer layer is a Johnson-type screen or wedge wire screen. The base pipe can be made of casing pipes, seamless pipes, or welded pipes. The diverse and reliable materials can adapt to different geological conditions and engineering requirements.
Compared with single-layer screens, prepacked well screens composed of inner and outer layers have significantly enhanced collapse strength, giving them an advantage in withstanding high downhole pressures. Their specific characteristics are as follows:
