Pre-Running Inspection & PreparationBefore running into the well, carefully check the screen appearance to ensure no damage to the wedge wire surface, no deformation of the slot, and intact thread. Verify the overall length, outer diameter, slot size and connection type against the order documents. Keep the thread protectors installed until the formal connection operation to avoid thread damage.

Handling & Lifting SpecificationsUse special soft slings for lifting and handling. It is strictly forbidden to use steel wire rope to directly contact the screen filtering surface to prevent scratch, deformation and welding joint damage. Do not drop, bump or squeeze the screen during transportation and handling, and avoid heavy impact on the end of the pipe.

LTC Thread Make-up Operation
Before connection, thoroughly clean the LTC male and female threads and coupling, remove all impurities, dust and burrs, and evenly apply API standard thread compound on the entire thread surface. Use a calibrated hydraulic torque tong for make-up, strictly follow the API 5CT recommended make-up torque for 13 3/8” J55 LTC casing. Avoid over-torque (which may cause thread damage) or under-torque (which may cause sealing failure).

Q2: What is the tolerance of the slot opening of this screen?
A2: We adopt full-automatic CNC production equipment, the slot opening tolerance is strictly controlled within ±0.02mm, which fully meets API standards. We can also customize the slot size from 0.1mm to 5mm according to your formation sand particle size analysis results.
Q3: Can this 304 stainless steel screen be used in highly corrosive downhole environments?
A3: AISI 304 stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance to fresh water, weak acid and weak alkali media, and is suitable for conventional well conditions. For highly corrosive environments with high content of H₂S, CO₂ or chloride ions, we recommend upgrading to 316L, duplex stainless steel or Hastelloy wrap wire to extend the service life of the screen.
Q4: What is the standard R2 length range of this product?
A4: The R2 length of this screen fully complies with API standard, with a range of 6.10m to 9.14m (20ft to 30ft). We can also customize non-standard lengths according to your actual well depth and on-site operation requirements.
