Rotary Drum Screen Structure Principle
The Rotary Drum Screen is installed at an angle of 35 degrees in a channel or a tank. Sewage flows into the basket drum, scum and suspended matters are intercepted accordingly.
When the water level before and after the grid reaches a determined difference in level, the waste scraping arm, fixed on the central axis, starts to rotate for cleaning.
The scraper brushes penetrates into the grid orifices, thoroughly clean the basket, removes the waste and transfer it via a screw conveyor to discharge it into a bin. The brushes are automatically cleaned during the drum rotation.
