A whip check is a safety cable used during an abrasive blasting process. Whip checks connects air hoses across the coupling to prevent the hoses from flying around if the connection inadvertently separates.

A whip check's primary purpose is to keep the pressurized hose on one place if any decoupling occurs between the hose mouth and jet nozzle and therefore prevent accidents at the workplace.

These are easy to use, low cost, safety cables to help prevent injury if a hose connection separates. They can attach hose to hose or hose to equipment. They are highly resistant to rust and corrosion and do not require any tools to install.

These are designed for 1-1/2" to 3" air hose and are approximately 38" long.
