6x19+FC 6x19+IWS 6x19+IWR EIPS Steel Wire Rope

Steel Wire ropes, construction 6x19M - IWRC, with core of independent wire rope (7x7) are used for similar applications as the ropes of same structure with fibre core, but, comparing with fibre core ropes, wire rope core ropes feature with higher stiffness, larger breaking force and higher resistance to transversal pressures and extreme temperatures, also, they feature with higher tensile strength and lower flexibility.

Steel Wire ropes, construction 6x19S - FC (Seale, the strand with wires laid in parallel lay, where the number of wires is the same both in outer and inner strand layers, wire arrangement in the strand 1+9+9), are used for general applications in various industries, first of all, due to high resistance to abrasion and relatively good flexibility. High resistance to abrasion results from the use of large diameter wires in outer strand layer, those ropes are used in fishery for trawl warps. 

In execution according to the EN 12385-5 Standard, those ropes (also, with polypropylene cores) are used for passenger and goods lifts with drive via friction disks. Those ropes are produced in few versions with various tensile strengths of outer strand layer wires

Environmental Considerations

IWRC must not be used at temperatures above 400°F.

FC must not be used at temperatures above 180°F.

Fiber core ropes should not be subjected to degreasing solvents

• Define rope diameter. 1-1/4" or 24mm in example
• Rope Structure. 6X37 IWRC EIPS construction for example.
• laid RHLL(Z) or LHLL(S) for cable laid rope.
• Sling Length (length could be 0.5~1000meter, feet and meter both OK)
• Terminations, end with soft eye or Hard eye (Thimble Eye)
