Drum Motor Drive Sidewall Belt Conveyor Variable Speed Drive Overload Protection

General

Sidewall belt conveyor is continuous transporting equipment for loose bulk materials such as coke, coal, limestone, sand and gravel. It adopts high quality conveyor belt with corrugated sidewall and horizontal baffle. Sidewall belts are used to convey material up inclines. The sidewall increases the carrying capacity of the belt and prevents product from falling off the edges of the belt. Hot vulcanization provides 5 times greater adhesion between the belt and sidewall, eliminating the need for bolting the sidewall to the base belt. Greater adhesion also prevents the sidewall from lifting and separating from the base belt, extending the belt life.

Application

Sidewall belt conveyor can be used in coal, chemical industry, building materials, metallurgy, electric power, light industry, food, port, shipping and other industries, in the working environment that the humidity is -15 degree to +40 degree, transport a variety of bulk materials which density is 0.5-2.5t/m3.

Operation regulation and maintenance

• Belt conveyor should be operated in according to design requirement.

• Belt conveyors are not allowed to overload run.

• Check wear condition of the belt, the damaged should be repaired.

• Operators should circuit to inspect to close observe belt conveyor running. Especially,temperature rise and noise of main motor and the brake working whether they are normal; contact state of the brake and oil level, noise of gear unit and run off of belt should be noticed;temperature rise and noise of all bearings and state of all transition loads point should be noticed;

  notice to see whether the hopper are blocked, working state of pulley, idler, belt cleaner, take-ups and control equipment.

• Operators should make good record if any abnormal. The belt conveyor should be stoppe on emergency.

• Periodic overall: Minor overall should be once every monthes besides ordinary maintenance Overhaul should be once half past year or once every year.
