ASTM B386 / B386m TZM Titanium Molybdenum Sheet With Good Welding Performance
TZM Molybdenum Alloy Sheet ASTM B386 / B386M , Molybdenum Alloy 364
Molybdenum TZM is an alloy of 0.50% Titanium, 0.08% Zirconium and 0.02% ...
Recrystalization Temp. C. 1400. SPECIFICATIONS. ASTM. B386 type 364.
- Description
Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum Alloy TZM Alloy
TZM Molybdenum alloy sheet has a higher recrystallization temperature, higher strength, hardness at room and elevated temperatures than pure Molybdenum. TZM Alloy offers twice the strength of pure molybdenum at temperatures over 1300 °C. The recrystallization temperature of TZM Alloy is approximately 250 °C higher than molybdenum and it offers better weld ability. For high strength applications such as rocket nozzles, furnace structural components, and forging dies, it can be well worth the cost differential.
TZM Molybdenum alloy sheet advantages compared to pure molybdenum
- Better creep resistance
- Higher recrystallization temperature
- Better high temperature strength
- Good welding performance
