6.0-114mm Zirconium Pipeline UNS R60702 Hydrochloric Acid
ASTM B658 Zirconium Pipeline UNS R60702 For Industrial Corrosive Fluid Systems
Zirconium Pipeline is a highly corrosion-resistant metal, suitable for chemical-resistant equipment. Its acid resistance is better than titanium and various steels, and is similar to tantalum. Zirconium is also very stable in alkaline solutions.
The zirconium pipeline is made of metal zirconium and other metals. Because zirconium has excellent nuclear properties and corrosion resistance, zirconium alloy tubes are often used in the internal structure of nuclear fuel assemblies and water-cooled reactors. Pure zirconium pipes are mainly used to manufacture chemical equipment.

Applications
Zirconium pipeline is resistant in most organic acids and mineral acids. Typical applications for seamless zirconium tubing are as heat exchangers, coolers, condensers and piping systems in the production of urea, acetic acid, formic acid, nitric acid and methyl methacrylate.
Some of the common service applications of zirconium pipeline include:
- Acetic Acid
- Citric Acid
- Formic Acid
- Hydrochloric Acid
- Lactic Acid
- Nitric Acid
- Phosphoric Acid
- Sulfuric Acid

Zirconium Corrosion Resistance
Zirconium tubes are commonly used in highly corrosive industrial applications and are often used in processes where chloride is a component. These and other highly corrosive chemicals can cause damage to smaller materials. This corrosion can quickly lead to repair and/or replacement of equipment in a short period of time, leading to costly and highly destructive process interruptions.
