ASTM B523 Zirconium Alloy Tube UNS R60705 For Industrial Coil Heat Exchanger
ASTM B523 Zirconium Alloy Tube UNS R60705 For Industrial Coil-Heat Exchanger Applications
The Zirconium Alloy Tube is completely resistant to alkali solution and molten alkali. The corrosion resistance of zirconium in sodium hydroxide medium is the same as that of nickel. Because zirconium has excellent corrosion resistance, it is much better than tantalum and precious metals in many cases. In addition, zirconium also has good mechanical properties and high temperature resistance.

APPLICATIONS
Zirconium is a highly corrosion-resistant metal, suitable for chemical-resistant equipment. Its acid resistance is better than titanium and various steels, and is similar to tantalum. Zirconium is also very stable in alkaline solutions.

Zirconium Corrosion Resistance
Zirconium alloy tubes are commonly used in highly corrosive industrial applications and are often used in processes where chloride is a component. These and other highly corrosive chemicals can cause damage to smaller materials. This corrosion can quickly lead to repair and/or replacement of equipment in a short period of time, leading to costly and highly destructive process interruptions.
