Astm B777 WNiCu Machined Heavy Tungsten Alloy Plate For Aerospace
Astm B777 WNiCu Machined Heavy Tungsten Alloy Board
Heavy Tungsten Alloy Board has comprehensive excellent properties such as high density, high strength and high hardness (commonly known as 3H alloy), as well as good ductility, conductivity and thermal conductivity. It plays an important role in weapon manufacturing. Subsequently, it has been widely used in national defense industry, aerospace and civil industry (such as electrical industry and drilling industry). High gravity tungsten alloy materials have become military and civil alloy materials.

Introduction & Features of Heavy Tungsten Alloy Board
Tungsten alloy board is mainly divided into two series: W-Ni-Fe and W-Ni-Cu, and even W-Ni-Fe-Cu. In contrast, the W-Ni-Fe alloy has better mechanical properties and plays a huge role in the defense industry and various fields of the national economy. It is a very important new military material in the national defense industry and has been gradually extended to various civilian industries.
The tungsten content in tungsten heavy alloys varies from 90% to 98%, which is the reason for their high density (16.5 to 19.00 g/cc). Nickel, iron, and/or copper are used as the metal binder matrix to bind the brittle tungsten particles together, making the tungsten alloy tough and easy to process. Nickel-iron is the most commonly used additive in a ratio of 7Ni:3Fe or 8Ni:2Fe (by weight).
Application of Tungsten Alloy Board
-
Tungsten alloys with high specific gravity are used to make tool holders, especially boring bars.
-
The high specific gravity tungsten alloy is used as the counterweight material for the high crankshaft of the small engine of the chain saw for the monthly supply of forest.
-
The electrodes of EDM and electrochemical machine tools are also made of high specific gravity tungsten gold.
