Butachlor 60% EC

Butachlor is used for the control of annual grasses and certain broad-leaved weeds in rice, both seeded and transplanted. Butachlor shows selectivity in barley, cotton, peanuts, sugar beet, wheat and several brassica crops. Effective rates range from 1.0-4.5 kg a.i./ha. Activity is dependent on water availability such as rainfall following treatment, overhead irrigation or applications to standing water as in rice culture.

Contact herbicide used post-emergence in rice, at 2.5-5.0 kg/ha, to control broad-leaved and grass weeds, including amaranthus retroflexus, digitaria spp., echinochloa spp., panicum spp., and setaria spp. It is also used, in mixture with MCPA, in wheat. The mixture with carbaryl is used in citrus crops grown in sod culture.

This product is made from isopropyl amine, Atrazine and butachlor mixture into corn fields of soil treatment with herbicide before seedling, which can effectively kill seedling regeneration, achieving effective control of weeds in corn field of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds.
