Fenoxycarb

Fenoxycarb is an insecticide that disrupts the development of the pest an insect growth regulator(IGR).In contrast to conventional neurotoxic insecticides that cause knockdown effects,it has and insect-specific mode of action exhibiting strong juvenile horone activity.It inhibits metamorphosis to the adult stage,interferes with the molying of early.It inhibits metamorphosis to the aduly stage,interferses with the molting of early instar larae,and involvs certain ovicide and delayed larvicde-adulticide eficcts in various insect species.The respomse of a parucular group of insects may be quite sqecific.

It disrupts insect-specfic transformations and is effective against various Lepidoptera and scale insects on fruit,citrus,olives and vines at 5-10gAI/hl and is safe to many beneficial arthropods.Also used against mosquito larvae,fleas and cockroaches.

the environmental compatibility is good:fenoxycarb has low soil mobility,it does not bioaccumlate,and it breaks down relatively quickly in the environment.
