Welded Gabion is made of welded wire mesh panels assembled with spirals, locking pins and stiffener. Each gabion panel is composed of rugged high tensile wire coated by a thick, corrosion-resistant layer of zinc.

Gabion Basket(Box) Introduction:

1. Gabion is made of steel mesh with the type 8x10 mesh.

2. The diameter of the wire mesh has normally two types: 2.7 or 3.0 mm.

3. The gabion element is in the shape of block or regular cube size. These special wire bins are made of robust wire, filled with the vibrations at the quarry and transport are accompanied by the lifting straps.

4. The wire of the outside frame edge is one wire gauge thicker than the wire used for hexagonal wire netting.

5. Wires of gabion basket can be classified into mesh wire, selvedge wire and tie wire. The selvedge wire is thicker than the other two wires.
