Granular material is fed continuously or in batches into a rotating drum. As the drum rotates, an internal lifting mechanism gently picks up and dumps the granules, forming a uniform "granule bed." Precision spray guns atomize the coating solution (such as polymer resin, sulfur, syrup, etc.) and evenly distribute it over the tumbling granules.
Simultaneously, heated air passes through the drum, rapidly drying the coating solution upon contact with each granule. This process forms a strong, continuous film around the granules. Finally, the coated granules are discharged for further cooling or packaging.
