The DTM-600 digital transmission densitometer measures the amount of light absorbed by transparent materials such as film base. The instrument consists of a lighting system, light collection mechanism, measurement system, and signal processing system. Using AC modulated light source technology, it provides stable illumination that passes through the film sample. A photoelectric sensor receives the transmitted light, converts it to electrical signals, and processes the data through a microcontroller to display the precise density value.
