The TMTeck Digital Barcol Hardness Tester is a portable indentation hardness tester developed based on the Barcol impressor principle, designed for precise hardness measurement in industrial applications.
Complies with standards JJG610-2013 and ASTM B648-10(2015).
The digital Barcol hardness tester applies a specific shape steel indentor to press into workpiece surfaces using test force from a load spring. When the supporting foot contacts the workpiece surface, the instrument measures the extension length of the indentor to determine hardness.
Designed for testing hardness of aluminum, aluminum alloys, fiber reinforced plastics, and rigid plastics. Offers wide valid testing range equivalent to Brinell hardness 25-150HBW.
