Industrial Stainless Steel Ribbon Mixer Overview
The horizontal double-ribbon mixer is engineered for efficient blending of various powder materials, powders with minimal liquid content, and powders containing tiny granules. Featuring a U-shaped barrel, transmission shaft, and internal ribbon agitators, this machine ensures thorough material circulation for rapid, homogeneous mixing.
Applications
Widely utilized in chemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing industries for solid-solid (powder-to-powder) and solid-liquid (powder with fluid materials) mixing operations.
Working Principle
The mixer employs dual ribbon agitators: the outer ribbon pushes materials from both ends toward the center, while the inner ribbon moves materials from the center outward. This counter-current action creates continuous material convection for uniform blending. The centrally located discharge port, assisted by the outer ribbon, ensures complete material evacuation.
