Peelable Mask PCB
Peelable masks are used to cover some vias or some areas on a PCB boards that customer require. During the SMT process, no solder will penetrate during solder flow. When these SMT process is finished and the peelable mask is no longer needed on the surface, it can be mechanically removed or "peeled-off" very easily. The area it used to protect is exposed for the final assembly process. Pealable mask is not a replacement for standard solder resist.
