Brief Introduction to Polyester Staple Fiber
What is Polyester Staple Fiber?
Polyester staple fiber is polyester (polyethylene terephthalate, PET) polymerized by PTA and MEG and spun into fibers after cutting the fiber.
PET looks like rice and is available in several variants.
75% is used for polyester fiber for chemical fiber and polyester staple fiber, and polyester fiber is made according to the needs of textile industry. Features of Polyester Staple Fiber Strength: The strength of polyester fiber is almost 1 times that of cotton and 3 times that of wool, which makes the polyester fabric strong and durable.
Heat resistance: can be used at 70~1700C.It has the best heat resistance and thermal stability of any synthetic fiber. Elasticity: Polyester's elasticity is similar to that of wool and its wrinkle resistance is superior to that of other fibers. The fabric doesn't wrinkle and holds up well. Abrasion Resistance: Polyester's abrasion resistance is second only to nylon and second only to synthetic fibers.
Recycled Conjugate Polyester Fiber is regenerative eco-friendly polyester staple fiber.
Application: used as stuffing in bedding, filling pillows and cushions, clothing, furniture, toys and other non-woven applications
