Photovoltaic copper conductors are suitable for outdoor rooftop applications without conduit and for use in conduits and raceways installed underground in wet locations, and where condensation and moisture accumulations within the conduit do not exceed 90°C. Applications requiring direct burial is permitted with PV wire. All cables comply with TUV’s VW-1 (Vertical Wire) Flame Test. Insulation compounds are rated for flame and sunlight-resistance.

1. Conductor: fine wire strands of tinned copper wires, according IEC60228, class 5

2. Insulation: halogen free PE, electron beam cross-linked

Colors: black

3. Outer jacket: halogen free and flame retardant PE, electron beam cross-linked resistance against water, UV resistant

Jacket color: black, red

4. Max, temperature at conductors: -40℃ up to +120℃

5.Temperature ranges: -40℃ up to +90℃ (min.25 years)

6. Nominal voltage U0/U: AC 1000V, DC 1500V

7. Mat. DC voltage: 1800V (conductor-conductor, non-earthed system, circuit not under load)

8. AC-test-voltage: 6.5KV

9. Minimum surface resistance of sheath: 109Ώ
