Screw Conveyor Introduction:
Screw conveyor is a kind of continuous conveying equipment without flexible traction mechanism. It mainly used to convey powder, granular and small lump material which is less viscous and hard blocking, such as coal, slag, cement and etc. Screw Conveyor can be widely used in building materials, chemicals, power, metallurgy, coal and other industries.
Screw Conveyor Classification:
Screw conveyors are generally divided into two types: shaft screw conveyor and shaftless screw conveyor. From appearance, screw conveyors are divided into U-shaped (LS) Screw conveyor and tubular (GX) Screw conveyor. In addition, it is divided into single-shaft Screw conveyor and double-shaft screw conveyors according to the quantity of shafts.
The shaft screw conveyor generally transports non-sticky dry powder materials and small particles, such as cement, fly ash, lime and so on. The shaftless screw conveyor can convey materials that are difficult to convey by shaft screw and belt conveyor, such as materials with high humidity, high viscosity, easy to entangle and block.
Compared with the shaft screw conveyor, the shaftless screw conveyor adopts a design without a central shaft, which reduces weight and cost, and uses a flexible overall steel spiral to push the material, which has the above outstanding advantages.
The LS screw conveyor was improved by the GX screw conveyor. It changed the structure of the suspension bearing, and expand the groove at the position of the suspension bearing outward, which increased the area where the material passed and made the material pass more smoothly.
