Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System
Technology Principle
Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a pressure-driven membrane separation technology featuring high separation efficiency, no phase change, and simple operation. The RO membrane has nanometer-scale pores that are invisible under scanning electron microscopy. At operating pressures exceeding raw water osmotic pressure, water molecules pass through the semi-permeable membrane to produce pure water, while organic compounds, inorganic ions, microorganisms, colloids, and pyrogens are effectively removed with 97-98% efficiency.
System Description
This advanced water purification technology utilizes reverse osmosis elements to enhance water purity by removing impurities and salts. The system processes raw water through multiple filtration stages including fine filters, granular activated carbon filters, and compressed activated carbon filters before applying pump pressure through the 1/10,000 micron RO membrane, effectively separating high-concentration water into low-concentration purified water while eliminating industrial pollutants, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, and other contaminants to meet drinking water standards.
