Jonson Vee wire screen is constructed by winding cold-rolled, approximately triangular wire around circular longitudinal rods. The wire is resistance-welded to the rods, creating rigid one-piece units with high strength-to-weight ratios. The continuous V-shaped slots provide maximum open area to reduce entrance velocity, increase hydraulic efficiency, and enhance development effectiveness.
