Johnson screen slotted tube for Sand Control used in water well
Sand Control Screens are welded by profile V-wire and support wires, also called Johnson screen. The features are high ratio filter area because of big opening, vee wire structure are easy for automatic backwashing and avoid pipe blocking. The pressure will reduce when water flows in for greater filter area, avoiding grains of sand flowing into the wedge wire tube in high pressure conditions, thus making the pipe life longer. Between the same length, diameter and slot size, wedge wire pipe is three times more effective than bridge filter pipes.
Material: Low carbon steel wire, AISI 304, AISI 304L, AISI 316, AISI316L, high quality stainless steel wire.
Application: With the high-precision, our wedge wire as filter elements used in water treatment industry, oil filtration, paper making, refine sugar. We have inside perforated metal and reverse wedge wire tube outside filter.

- Not easy to jam: The special V shaped wire makes the hole of screen outside face smaller than inside, so the hole is not easy to jam.
- Slot even: The CNC machine tools strictly control the gap between the wire, so that the gap is even.
