Product Description
Customized 300 TPD Cross Fired Furnace Overview
This large capacity float glass furnace features cross-fired technology with energy-saving design, delivering 300 tons per day production capacity for industrial glass manufacturing applications.
Glass Melting Process Stages
The melting process consists of five interconnected stages that directly impact final glass quality:
Glass Liquid Formation
Sinter melts as silicate and SiO2 transform into flint glass liquid with gas bubbles. Chemical composition and properties are not yet uniform at this stage.
Clearing Stage
Continuous heating reduces viscosity, releasing gaseous impurities and eliminating visible bubbles from the liquid pool.
Homogenization
Molten glass maintains high temperature for extended periods, eliminating ripples through diffusion function to achieve complete homogenization.

Furnace Structure Components
- Glass Melting Section: Melts batched materials and homogenizes glass liquid with flame space and melting tank
- Heat Source Supply Section: Mixes heated air and gas in pre-combustion room after regenerator flow
- Dog House: Entry point for batched materials with heat transfer via flame space
- Cooling Section: Cools and homogenizes glass liquid for distribution
- Waste Heat Recovery Section: Improves flame temperature using waste heat to save energy
- Gas Supply & Waste Gas Exhaust: Ensures continuous, regular operation with reversal units, flue channels, blowers and chimney
Melting Technology Control System
Precise temperature control affects melting rate, glass liquid convection, formation conditions, fuel combustion, and furnace activity.
Temperature Control
Monitors furnace temperature profile from melting tank through furnace length to ensure optimal melting performance.
Pressure Management
Maintains static pressure of gas system according to pressure distribution curve specifications.
Bubbling System
Ensures stability of bubble shape and position as key indicators of melting performance and glass quality.
