Glass Melting Process
Glass melting is the most critical process in glass production, transforming batched materials into uniform, bubble-free liquid through high-temperature heating.
Glass Liquid Formation
During this stage, sinter melts and silicate/SiO2 components transform into flint glass liquid with numerous bubbles. Initial chemical composition and characteristics remain uneven.
Clearing Process
Continuous heating reduces viscosity, releasing gaseous impurities and eliminating visible bubbles from the liquid pool.
Homogenization Phase
Extended high-temperature exposure eliminates ripples through diffusion, achieving complete homogenization at temperatures lower than the clearing stage.

  • Melting Section: Processes batched materials through clearing and homogenization, featuring flame space above and melting tank below
  • Dog House: Entry point for batched materials with heat transfer occurring through flame space
