Product Description
Industrial Glass Melting Furnace Overview
The Mild Steel Flint ISO45001 200TPD Industrial Glass Furnace is a specialized melting device essential for glass manufacturing operations. With a daily melting capacity of 200 tons, this furnace represents a large-scale industrial solution designed for continuous, high-volume production.
Glass Melting Process Stages
The melting process consists of five interconnected stages where each phase directly impacts the subsequent stage and final glass quality.
Glass Liquid Formation
Sinter materials melt during this initial stage, transforming silicate and SiO2 components into flint glass liquid. This phase generates numerous bubbles and results in uneven chemical composition and characteristics.
Clearing Process
Continuous heating reduces glass liquid viscosity, facilitating the release of gaseous impurities. This stage eliminates visible bubbles from the liquid pool.
Homogenization
Extended high-temperature exposure enables diffusion-based ripple elimination, achieving complete homogenization. Homogenization temperatures are typically lower than clearing stage temperatures.
Key Melting Performance Factors
  • Raw material characteristics and properties
  • Chemical composition of batched materials
  • Material feeding methodology and techniques
  • Precise melting temperature control
Glass production defects primarily originate during the melting process. Melting quality directly influences production yield, manufacturing costs, fuel efficiency, furnace campaign duration, and overall operational performance.

Furnace Structural Components
Glass Melting Section
This core section handles material melting, clearing, and homogenization processes. The upper flame space and lower melting tank work in conjunction, with burners feeding preheated air through ports to maximize flame efficiency.
Heat Source Supply Section
Heated air and gas flow from regenerators into pre-combustion chambers for mixing. This section also serves as the pathway for flue gas to return from flame space to regenerators.
Waste Heat Recovery Section
Advanced waste heat recovery systems utilize exhaust heat to preheat combustion air and gas, significantly increasing flame temperatures while reducing energy consumption.
Gas Supply & Exhaust System
Comprehensive gas management system ensures continuous, regulated, and efficient furnace operation. Includes double deck reversal units, air/gas flue channels, middle flue channels, blowers, main flue channels, and chimneys.
Melting Technology Control Systems
Advanced control systems manage temperature, pressure, bubbling, glass liquid levels, fuel delivery, and reversing mechanisms to optimize performance.
Temperature Control
Precise melting tank temperature regulation is critical, affecting melting speed, glass liquid convection patterns, forming conditions, fuel combustion efficiency, and furnace campaign longevity.
Pressure Management
Furnace pressure represents static pressure within the gas system, determined by comprehensive pressure distribution curves.
Bubbling Optimization
Stable bubble formation and positioning serve as key indicators of melting performance, directly influencing furnace production capacity and glass liquid quality.
