Product Description
Industrial Glass Melting Furnace Overview
This 50 TPD domestic glass melting furnace is engineered for small-scale industrial glass production, featuring customized configurations and compact dimensions suitable for various manufacturing applications.
Glass Melting Process Technology
Glass melting transforms raw batch materials into uniform, bubble-free liquid glass through precise high-temperature heating. The process involves three critical stages:
Liquid Formation Stage
Sinter materials melt completely, converting silicates and SiO₂ into flint glass liquid while releasing gaseous impurities and forming bubbles.
Clearing Stage
Continuous heating reduces viscosity, enabling visible bubble elimination and gaseous impurity release from the liquid pool.
Homogenization Stage
Extended high-temperature exposure eliminates ripples through diffusion, achieving complete chemical and physical uniformity at temperatures lower than clearing stage requirements.
Furnace Capacity Classification
| Furnace Type | Daily Production Capacity |
|---|---|
| Small Scale Furnace | Below 50 tons |
| Medium Scale Furnace | 50 tons - 150 tons |
| Large Scale Furnace | 150 tons plus |
Furnace Structural Components
Melting Section
Comprises flame space (upper section) and melting tank (lower section) where batch materials transform into homogenized glass liquid. Burner ports feed preheated air to optimize flame efficiency.
Dog House
Primary entry point for batch materials, with heat transfer occurring through flame space to the glass liquid below.
Air & Gas Access System
Channels heated air and gas into pre-combustion chambers for mixing, while simultaneously directing flue gas from flame space to regenerators.
Pre-Combustion Chamber
Facilitates thorough air and gas mixing through vortex motion and molecular diffusion before introduction into the main furnace chamber.
Melting Technology Control Systems
Comprehensive process control includes temperature regulation, pressure management, bubbling optimization, liquid level monitoring, fuel delivery, and reversing system operation.
Temperature Control
Precise melting tank temperature management with controlled distribution along the furnace length for optimal thermal efficiency.
Pressure Regulation
Maintains stable gas system static pressure determined by established pressure distribution curves.
Bubbling Optimization
Ensures stable bubble shape and positioning as critical indicators of melting performance, directly affecting production capacity and glass liquid quality.
