Product Overview
Glass melting represents the most critical process in glass manufacturing, transforming batched materials into uniform, bubble-free liquid glass through high-temperature heating. The end-fired furnace configuration features a longitudinal burner port arrangement with a U-shaped flame combustion path, making it the industry-preferred solution for modern glass production facilities.
Furnace Structure Components
Melting Section
This core component melts batched materials while simultaneously clarifying and homogenizing the glass liquid. The upper flame space facilitates heat transfer, while the lower melting tank contains the molten glass.
Dog House
The entry point where batched materials feed into the furnace, with heat transfer occurring from the flame space to the glass liquid below.
Air & Gas Access System
Heated air and gas flow through this system into pre-combustion chambers for mixing after exiting the regenerator. This pathway also serves as the exhaust route for flue gas traveling from the flame space to the regenerator.
Port Configuration
Critical furnace component where fuel mixes with preheated air, serving dual functions as both the entry point for preheated air and the exhaust pathway for waste gases.
