Product Description
Industrial Glass Furnace Overview
Glass melting represents the most critical process in glass production, transforming batched materials into uniform, bubble-free liquid glass through high-temperature heating. The glass furnace serves as the essential melting equipment for industrial glass manufacturing operations.
Glass Melting Process Stages
Glass Liquid Formation
During this initial stage, sinter materials melt as silicates and SiO2 transform into flint glass liquid containing numerous bubbles. The chemical composition and characteristics remain uneven at this point.
Clearing Process
Continuous heating reduces glass liquid viscosity while releasing gaseous impurities. This process eliminates visible bubbles within the liquid pool.
Homogenization
Extended high-temperature exposure allows ripples to dissipate through diffusion, resulting in complete homogenization. Homogenization temperatures can be lower than those required during the clearing stage.
