Glass Melting Furnace Overview
This 100 TPD (Ton Per Day) glass melting furnace is designed for efficient and economic glass production. Glass, an amorphous inorganic nonmetallic material primarily composed of silicate, undergoes a complex melting process involving physical, chemical, and physicochemical reactions to transform raw materials into high-quality glass liquid.
Glass Melting Process Stages
Glass Liquid Formation
Sinter melts and silicate/SiO₂ components transform into flint glass liquid with numerous bubbles. Chemical components and characteristics remain uneven at this stage.
Clearing Process
Continuous heating reduces viscosity, releasing gaseous impurities and eliminating visible bubbles from the liquid pool.
Homogenization
Extended high-temperature exposure eliminates ripples through diffusion, achieving complete homogenization at temperatures lower than the clearing stage.
