CPE 135A is a chlorinated polyethylene impact modifier manufactured through HDPE chlorination.
With no double bonds in its molecular structure, this material delivers exceptional weatherability,
flame resistance, and versatile application capabilities.
Key Performance Characteristics
This white powder material is non-toxic and exhibits excellent rubber-like properties due to
chlorine atom substitution that disrupts HDPE crystallization. The presence of chlorine atoms
creates polar polymers that enhance compatibility with PVC while also allowing blending with
PE, PS, and various rubber compounds to improve physical properties.
