CPE 135A PVC Impact Modifier with 35% Chlorine Content and 600% Elongation for Pipe and Profile Applications
Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) 135A is a high-performance impact modifier specifically engineered for PVC applications. This white powder additive enhances the mechanical properties and durability of rigid PVC products while maintaining excellent processing characteristics.
Manufactured from low voltage high-density polyethylene, CPE 135A combines the beneficial properties of both plastics and rubber. The chlorination process replaces hydrogen atoms with chlorine atoms, disrupting HDPE crystallization and creating a soft, rubber-like material with enhanced compatibility with PVC and other polymers.
CPE 135A is ideal for general purpose plastic impact modification where superior impact strength, excellent low temperature performance, and high filler acceptance are required. Primary applications include:
- PVC door and window profiles
- Siding and fencing systems
- Sheet materials and panels
- Industrial pipes and electrical conduits
- Superior Weather Resistance: Excellent anti-aging properties and ozone resistance for harsh climate conditions
- Low Temperature Flexibility: Maintains flexibility at temperatures as low as -20°C
- Chemical Resistance: Inert to most chemical reagents and resistant to acids and alkalis
- Flame Retardant: Good anti-combustion properties with no self-ignition
- Processing Efficiency: Easy to shape and process with excellent stability
- Environmental Safety: Harmless to human health and environmentally friendly
