Lead-Based PVC Compound Stabilizer
This one-pack lead stabilizer contains tribasic lead sulfate (TBLS) and dibasic lead phosphite (DBLP), with additional lead stearate serving as both heat stabilizer and lubricant. The lead metal content ranges from 25% to 40%, with linear correlation between lead content and thermal stability.
Stabilization Mechanism
PVC heat stabilizers function through two primary mechanisms:
- Preventing the formation of hydrogen chloride (primary stabilization)
- Neutralizing hydrogen chloride once formed (secondary stabilization)
