Method/step

Rinse contaminants on medical devices with clean water for preliminary cleaning;

Then soak the instrument in the cleaning solution (multi-enzyme, alcohol, glutaraldehyde, etc., according to the different instruments to be cleaned, choose a different cleaning solution for disinfection) for 15-30 minutes;

Clean the instrument in an ultrasonic cleaner for 15-30 minutes with a cleaning solution such as multi-enzyme;

After performing the above 3 steps, use pure water as the cleaning solution, and ultrasonically clean again for 15-30 minutes;

high temperature sterilization;

Precautions
Since blood and other body tissues are proteins, they will coagulate when exposed to high temperature, so that small molecules become macromolecules, and the cleaning effect will be greatly reduced. Therefore, when encountering pollutants such as blood, do not turn on the ultrasonic heating function immediately to avoid protein coagulation. Generally, the ultrasonic cleaning machine is started after step 3;
For cleaning solutions such as ethanol, do not turn on the heating function.
