APVCD series Vertical cuttings dryer for oilfield sludge treatment and waste management

Vertical cuttings dryer is used to process the oil base fluids drilled cuttings and the oil mud waste. Vertical cuttings dryer is also referred to centriuge separator. The main principle of it is centrifugal force separation. Almost oil bas mud waste will use cuttings dryer to help get more dry disposal from the management system

The cuttings dryer inside, there is air knife, screen basket. Under the rotation of the basket, the dry cuttings will be pushed out of dryer through discharge port.

Liquid is forced to pass through the screen bowl openings, while “dry” solids are extracted by the angled flights attached to the cone, which rotate slightly slower than the bowl. Tungsten carbide protects the flights from abrasive solids and ensures long operational life. This aids in maintaining a constant gap between the scroll and screen bowl, which is crucial for proper operation. The Vertical Cuttings Dryer uses centrifugal force to dry drilled solids in oil or synthetic base fluids. A stainless steel screen bowl traps “wet” solids and accelerates them up 900RPM with G force to 420G

Aipu produce 2 types cuttings dryer. One is APVCD930, the other is APVCD700. However, most users prefer the APVCD930 beacuse the larger capacity. The cuttings dryer model number means the internal screen basket diameter. 930mm means the diameter of screen basket is 930mm. While the 700 means the diameter of basket is 700mm.

Because it will dry the material and decarease water content. The cuttings dryer decrease disposal percentage benefit much on “0” disposal application. The wolfram carbide alloy knives on cones are changeable also minimize the whole device failure. 

The cuttings dryer can be fixed frequency and VFD drive. Depends on clients' practical demand and preference. However, the VFD one is kindly suggested. It will perform more flexibly and convenient to operate for different site condition
