Dual-deck shale shaker, also be called double layer screen shale shaker, is a fitful device on drilling mud management or horizontal boring (horizontal direction drilling). Tandem shale shaker manufactured by aipu solids control have demonstrated higher flow rates with all types of mud than other well known mud shale shakers. The horizontal shaker screens allow longer slurry retention time and provide more volume sq.ft. of screen than traditional shakers.

Dual deck shaker is one of type shale shakers. As we know, it has two decks: the top deck use coarse screen and the bottom deck use fine screen. The biggest benefit of use dual deck shale shaker is reduced the number of shakers required on solids control system and can deliver high processing capacities.

Advantages of Tandem Shale Shaker

1. Tandem shale shaker could be used flexibly as per the drilling fluids flow rate. For drilling site, mostly two units shale shakers are needed. Sometimes one shaker is working while the other is stand-by; sometimes both of the two shakers will work at full capacity.
2. As the tandem shale shakers are mounted on the same one skid. For site installation and dismounting, only need to use a crane to lift the whole skid to put on tank top or take it off from the tank.
3. Convenient transportation. In designing and manufacturing the mounted skid, with consideration of easily putting on flatbed trailer, the skid is made with container type fixing points.
