1. Mount and secure the ODF unit on the 19-inch rack
2. Open front door and pull out rotating disc to access splice trays
3. Strip optical cable and route fibers into the unit
4. Splice fibers using heat shrink tubes and secure in slots
5. Test fibers using VFL and connect patch cords
6. Close rotating disc and secure front door
